About
In this stage, art is typically inspired from the things children see in their environment and the colour choices are based on their emotions rather than what's logical. We often see giant heads with stick arms and legs, with multiple colours of suns and grass! Our Mini Monets are eager to explore and learn, and we have the tools to help their imaginations soar!
Mini Monets is designed as an independent art class for children ages 4-6.
Students participate without a caregiver in the classroom and are encouraged to develop confidence, creativity, and independence while creating art alongside their peers.

At this age, children are still developing skills such as listening, following directions, taking turns, managing emotions, and working through challenges. Perfection is not expected. Caregivers are encouraged to focus on the creative process and celebrate their child's effort, exploration, and growth.

Students should be able to participate safely and respectfully in a small group setting. If a child requires additional support to be successful in class, a caregiver may be asked to remain nearby or participate alongside their child as needed.

Projects are designed to be age-appropriate and achievable, however each child's artwork will be unique. We encourage creativity, experimentation, and self-expression rather than focusing on a perfect finished product.
Mini Monets will need to bring:

-
a water bottle
-
sometimes we a few items from the recycling bin such as bottles, tubes, etc.. but we will let you know ahead of time.
