Step 5 supports that transition by guiding students toward reading, writing, and playing music in a way that feels achievable, engaging, and confidence-building.

In this class, your child will begin to:

• Write and recreate basic rhythm and note patterns

Each class follows a consistent routine, helping students feel confident while developing real musical skills.

Hands-on learning with a pre-keyboard instrument, introducing melody and simple note patterns

🥁 Rhythm & Writing Activities
Students begin to write and recreate rhythm patterns in a fun, visual, and age-appropriate way

🎼 Music Reading Skills
Introduction to recognizing notes, patterns, and musical structure

🎶 Singing & Musical Reinforcement
Songs that support pitch awareness, memory, and understanding of musical concepts

You don’t need to complete previous steps to join. Students can begin at any level from Baby Step through Step 5 based on age and readiness.​ However, Step 5 is a requirement for the Step 6 program.
