Step 5.png

Where early musical skills come together and children begin to read, write, and play music.

Designed for families looking for a consistent, high-quality program with structure, guidance, and intentional teaching.

Step 5 brings together the skills developed in earlier stages by introducing instrument-based learning, music reading, and early music writing through guided, hands-on instruction.

This is the stage where children begin to recognize musical patterns, understand how music is written, and play simple songs with confidence.

In this class, your child will begin to:

  • Read simple musical patterns and symbols

  • Write and recreate basic rhythm and note patterns

  • Play simple melodies on an age-appropriate instrument

  • Recognize and respond to rhythm with greater accuracy

  • Build confidence through structured, skill-based learning

💛 This is a structured class designed to help children feel capable, confident, and successful as they continue their musical journey.

Why This Stage Matters?

This stage marks the transition from early exploration into true, structured music learning.

Children begin to understand how music works, how it is written, and how to play it themselves.

Through guided instruction and hands-on experiences, Step 5 helps students build confidence, independence, and a strong foundation for musical growth.

Natural Progression

Coming from Step 4?
